Small Engines
Every auto manufacturer that sells vehicles in the United States - every make, every model produced after 1986 - warranties the use of fuel blended with up to 10 percent ethanol (E10).
E10 is safe to use in small engines such as motorcycles, boasts, lawn mowers, snowmobiles, personal watercraft, ATVs and many others. Manufacturers understand that the vast majority of gasoline sold in this country contains ethanol (In fact, by mid-2009 nearly all gas nationwide will contain 10% ethanol) and therefore ensures that products are compatible with the oxygenated fuel.
